In the past, it was believed that nerve cells do not grow or repair themselves. However, new discoveries are changing that view.
One discovery from Medical research that is important for treating nerve conditions & nerve regeneration is Oncomodulin.
Oncomodulin is produced by macrophages ( white blood cells). In experiments of damage to the optic nerves , it was noted that inflammation was important to bring improvement for nerves. The inflammation attracted white blood cells to area of the eye and nerves. Inflammation also stimulated the macrophages to produce oncomodulin. Without inflammation, no oncomodulin was produced & there was no nerve repair or improvement. Neutrophils are another type of white blood cell and like macrophages produce oncomodulin when stimulated under inflammatory conditions.

Mst3b – a kinase discovered to be responsible for stimulating axon regeneration in tests. Reducing Mst3b levels prevented neurons from regenerating axons in response to growth factors in culture. Neurons regenerating axons in vivo showed elevated Mst3b activity while reducing Mst3b inhibited regeneration of nerves. These activities were shown for both nerves of the Central-nervous-system and the peripheral nervous system.
Oncomodulin elevates expression of Mst3b which bring nerve regeneration. Oncomodulin and Inosine act by stimulating Mst3b expression.
Oncomodulin is just one factor that results in Mst3b expression leading to nerve regrowth.
Therefore, Inosine can be used as a substitute for Oncomodulin. In fact, Oncomodulin, Inosine and Nerve growth Factor all work in the process of nerve regeneration through Mst3b activation.

Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate – often written as cAMP
Cyclic adenosine monophosphate is a second messenger important in many biological processes. Many hormones act on the body and cells by increasing the levels of cAMP. In these cells, activation is started with Adenyl cyclase, an enzyme which forms cAMP in the cells. These cells expand slightly which allow absorption of nutrients needed to go through the transformation.
In the case of nerve regeneration, cAMP is also required for the transformation of nerve cells. Forskolin, a natural compound is safe to induce cAMP in cells.

Researchers Achieve Extensive Regeneration in Nerve Connecting Eye to Brain This research includes 3 factors – 1.) oncomodulin, 2.) cAMP and 3.) PTEN deletion.
"This is really a massive change," says Dr. Larry Benowitz. "It brings us closer to potentially restoring function after vision loss caused by optic nerve damage."
Now, scientists at Children's Hospital Boston report achieving nerve growth & regeneration to date in the mammalian optic nerve.
The scientists have discovered that two molecular pathways, which each promote some optic nerve regeneration on their own, can work synergistically. By activating these pathways simultaneously in a mouse model, they attained about 10-fold the regeneration seen with activation of either pathway alone.
The injured retinal nerve fibers regrew over long distances, with many making it all the way from the eye down the entire length of the optic nerve and across a structure at the base of the brain called the optic chiasm-where nerve fibers from the left and right eyes partially cross. Some rare nerve fibers even reached the thalamus, a deep brain region critical for early stages of visual processing.
The synergistic effect was achieved by simultaneously administering the protein oncomodulin, elevating levels of the small signaling molecule cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), and deleting the gene that encodes the enzyme PTEN.
Their experiments showed that PTEN deletion further activates the regenerative pathway turned on by oncomodulin. "While the PI3K pathway is involved in oncomodulin's actions, it's still only partially activated. So the PTEN deletion then fully activates the PI3K pathway," Benowitz says. "And by removing all the brakes on it, we get this remarkable level of growth."
What is PTEN ?
PTEN is a well-known negative regulator of cellular growth, as evident by its designation as a tumor suppressor gene.25,26 PTEN encodes a lipid and protein phosphatase that negatively regulates phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) signaling and controls cell growth and migration.
Researchers delete or removed expression of the PTEN gene to achieve Phosphoinositide 3 Kinase signaling/activation.To apply this , we do not need to delete PTEN, we can simply achieve P13K expression using herbs.

1.) Inosine - as explained above inosine and oncomodulin work by generating Mst3b, therefore Inosine is a good substitute for oncomodulin.
NOTE: The purine glycosides - Adenosine, Guanosine and Inosine can all be used as the first ingredient, however, adenosine must first be converted to inosine while guanosine also works but is less effective, therefore, Inosine would be considered the best in our formula.

Why the P13K - the last factor is important with the formula above. On further research, our team found that P13K signaling or activation always leads to Akt also known as Protein Kinase B.
The Akt is a survival signal. When cells are exposed to harsh conditions, there is a point where stress will start a cascade of signals that lead to apoptosis - meaning cell death. With P13K and Akt, the Akt prevents a number of proteins that leads to cell death. Therefore Oncomodulin or Inosine can start cell regeneration by expression of Mst3b. The cAMP continues the process of transformation and with Akt present, the neurons will continue their changes, grow and continue to survive under Akt signaling.

And with all 3 factors present and working synchronized together, the nerve growth is 10 fold compared with one pathway.

Cancer drugs – P13K activating herbs lead to Akt – which makes cells survive growth and regeneration. However, cancer drugs are usually meant to kill cancer cells by apoptosis. P13K and apoptosis are opposites – do not take cancer drugs with this formula.
Timolol -- timolol drops (Betoptic), a beta-blocker medication used to treat glaucoma, may interact with the formula .
Blood pressure medications -- In a clinical study of individuals taking blood pressure medications, including diltiazem (Cardizem), metoprolol (Lopressor or Toprol), enalapril (Vasotec), and nitroglycerin (Nitrostat or Nitrobid). These drugs may interfere with the nerve formula.

Caffeine & Theophylline - since Forkolin, one of the ingredients of nerve growth increases cyclic AMP – drugs such as caffeine also increase cAMP and its related chemical theophylline acts in the same way.
If you take coffee, it is probably best to take a smaller measure – strong coffee are definitely not advised.
Forskolin is not to be used in cases of Polycystic Kidney disease.

Withania somnifera known as Ashwaganda -herbs are known to upregulate production of interferon-gamma which is an inflammatory cytokine.
Other Illnesses can be a cause of failure. Inflammatory cytokine > Interferon - gamma is known to interfere with nerve growth. Interferon Gamma is used by the body to fight infections and cancer, , this kind of inflammation blocks nerve growth.
